Slow March

"Bright Comet Night" by Drew John Tankersley

Happy sez-  Here we are in the first few days of official summer and even though the days are getting slightly shorter each day, we still have the long days with the long, slow, soft evenings and nights stretching out
before us for weeks and months and what sometimes seems forever.  The clear warm nights where the moons light graces the earth have their own special magic as does a moonless night filled with the brilliant diamonds of the stars.  As Earth relentlessly cycles through it's seasons, each special in it's own right, it is that cycle as well as the seasons it brings that define and mark  not just our lives but the lives of all of Earths creatures as well as the Earth itself.  Let us hope that we remember in our day to day lives how precious and fragile are each individual day that marks the slow march of that season - and our lives.
