Frustration and Impatience

"Cindy's Afternoon Storm" by Drew John Tankersley

Happy sez-  Last post we talked a little bit about frustration, a large and well, frustrating subject -  but we did not talk about some of the related things that often accompany or surround frustration.  While these things can number in the many and are dependent on the situation and can come and go, I think one of the foremost of these things is impatience.  Impatience is very often accompanied by frustration.  One, I believe, can create the other, almost in a self-perpetuating cycle. Slow down or stop one side and you stop the cycle, one of those things that is easy to say but very often hard to do.  One might try to take oneself out of the cycle by changing the frame of reference, the reality, in which that cycle exists.  If your impatience then know and expect that things are going to frustrate you and by knowing that in advance it allows you to say  I'm going to be frustrated and that gives you the opportunity to deal with it before it happens, then the cycle is starting to break.
