Flow of the Seasons

"Lively Ice" by Drew John Tankersley

Happy sez- Winter came this year, as it often does, with a sudden fury that lets you know your never quite ready.  The winter clothes may be out, the pipes wrapped, and pumpkin pie glittering in your eye and you
may think your braced for that first blast of cold air on the back of your neck, but when the world suddenly turns shiny cold white and the anticipation of that cold blast of air down your neck is now reality with an added shot of ice, you wonder if all the wonders of winter are really as wonderful as you kept telling yourself all fall.  Someone, and I don't remember who, once told me that there are all different types of landscapes and climate because there are all different types of people - and it makes sense.  So if your one of those types that enjoy a brisk walk through the country on crackling snow or seeing the world shrouded in an innocent cloak of white then this coming time of year is perfect, and if your the type of person that likes the short and sandal motif then alas, it is not your time.  But like life the seasons have a way of changing - the planets move in their orbits and the cycle of the seasons flow through our lives, and so as fall flows into winter, winter will flow into spring, or else ol' Happy will have a lot to think about and reconsider!

Let me know what you think.  Do you prefer one season over the other? Why?  Do you think winter is more family oriented? Let me know!
