Anger of the Season

"Anger" by Drew John Tankersley

Happy sez- Anger is often about in this season of peace and joy, even with the news turned off there is still the increased worry and frustration of the season which of course, brings out the increased anger in this season of quiet reverent reflection.
People shopping, trying to find parking spaces, worry about finding the right gift and do I have every one covered, getting the decorations up and getting the clothes ready for the parties and then the big one  -  how will I ever pay for all this?

There is a lot of anger that can be generated with not the celebration of God, but by using the excuse of celebrating God to further your own agenda.  Look back a couple of thousand years, there was a man that I believe got quite upset because of people selfishly making money by disrespecting the worship of God.  See any parallels today?   Maybe we should put a little more of that quiet reverent reflection back into the season and we might have less anger.

Matthew 21:12
